Glad we tried this warm and welcoming pub

The Four Horseshoes at Graveney is well worth a visit. We popped in for a quick refreshment at the weekend – we’ve often passed and wondered what it was like – and received a warm welcome from the landlord, who made us very much at ease. The pub has a largish games room on one side and a public bar on the other with a good-sized seated area for lunches and evening meals. The settee was comfy, the loos were spotless: we were impressed!

No cooking, but a real fire!

Sorry to say the pub wasn't serving food when we called in - we did want to try it! Better luck next time. Bar was nice and welcoming though, with a real fire going.

    Friendly pub

We called in here on our way home to Whitstable from Faversham and found friendly people, good service and the garden looks lovely. Bat and trap, too! We will return for a pub meal.

    What a lovely atmosphere

I sat and had a lovely cup of 'proper' coffee on the big leather sofa by the open fire. The atmosphere is very relaxed - almost like being in your own front room and the food looks good too! Classic pub grub and its all homemade - yummy!
