Good news for Faversham’s ale buffs: visitors to the Elephant pub in the Mall will be celebrating St George’s Day with a beer festival over this Easter weekend.

The friendly free house, immaculately run by Jim and Kim Pearson since 2006, has been recognised for its fine beers by the Campaign for Real Ale with awards in each of the last four years.
