Tasteful Plants

Tasteful Plants is a fantastic family-run garden centre in Kent; we grow and sell of a wide selection of perennial and annual herbs, vegetables and ornamentals for gardens and containers. All are grown on our nursery to high environmental and organic standards from seeds, cuttings or divisions.
A full range of Nordmann fir, Norway spruce Christmas trees are available from the 1st December; cut and pot grown specimens in a range of sizes from 45cm (18") to large Xmas trees up to 40 foot!
A good range of standard, heritage and unusual varieties are available throughout the year and specimen or 'out-of-season' plants can be sourced for customers on request. We are firm believers in the importance of sustainable growing and are working hard to minimise our impact on the environment.
Advice from our expert & enthusiastic staff is available to enable local people to produce more of their own food on their balconies or in their gardens and allotments.

• Solid, robust reusable metal stands in red, green gold and black.
• Three sizes available to fit all Xmas trees up to 8ft or so
• Genuine oak whisky barrels available for larger Xmas trees

Potting composts
• Large, small and medium sized bags. We stock a range including peat free, ericaceous, reduced peat, fine, medium/coarse for larger containers, John innes No.3 and GENUINE organic vegetarian bracken & sheep's wool compost.
Seasonal Christmas Bulbs
• Only the best quality, true-to-type, top sized bulbs are stocked.
• 18 varieties of Dwarf Narcissi including: Paperwhite, Quail, Little Witch, Jack Snipe, Tete a Tete
• 8 massive Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) from pure white to Lemon & Lime or black Pearl
• 6 colours of forced scented Hyacinths available as ready potted or singles & try Woodstock, Delft Blue, Fondant, Aiolos, Blue Jacket or City of Harlem.
• Fragrant Paperwhite bulbs in bowls or pots & single multi-stemmed bulbs
