Faversham Folk Club have a special guest this week, American folksinger Jeff Warner.

Hear music from another tradition upstairs at The Chimney Boy, Preston Street, Faversham, on Wednesday
The son of song collectors Frank and Anne Warner, Jeff grew up listening to the music of the traditional singers his parents met on their travels through rural America, and he accompanied his parents on their later field trips.
Not surprisingly, he draws on this rich tradition for the material he performs and interprets – songs from the lumber camps, fishing villages and mountain tops of old-time America – on concertina, banjo, guitar and several "pocket" instruments, including bones and spoons.
Jeff Warner appears at Faversham Folk Club, upstairs at the Chimney Boy pub in Preston Street, on Wednesday (June 8). Admission costs £6 (members), £7 (non-members). The start-time is 8pm. Conveniently for hungry music fans, the pub has an evening menu; details are on the folk club's website.
